Client

I would highly recommend Dave Waltrip and his associate Nicole Hahn. I had a particularly intricate and challenging divorce case recently in which I was very satisfied with the outcome. He was my second attorney after my concerns had not been addressed properly in the beginning of the case with my fi...rst attorney. I do believe that without his representation, I would have received a poor outcome overall. Due to his tenacity and skill level, I would recommend him to anyone with a complex divorce case.

RUN!!!

After the divorce finally ended had 3 attorneys tell me he should have never taken my case. Way over his head. Always put on the back burner. Constantly apologized for not getting back with me. Do not use unless you want to lose everything. Look elsewhere! Do your research.

Doesn't even deserve one star!

He over charged me for work that I am not sure he even did in my divorce. Hen it came time for trial ( which ehat most of my hours were billed) he told me not to go to trial and just settle. Now I'm stuck with a 60 thousand dollar bill, no child support and split 50-50. I could have done that myself ...and not paid 60k. Now he's suing me because I don't want to pay him for the work that he didn't do!!! Terrible, lazy and dishonest. Oh and wait to see how he talks to you when your no longer his client! I agree with the first unsatisfied customer. Run!!!!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
