Everything everyone said is true. Believe them.
**Don not walk to her office, RUN away from it!** I hired Ms. Hill in July 2025 to represent my son in a couple of cases he have pending due to his previous attorney passing back in April. She was recommended to me by a trusted friend so I thought he was in good hands. That was the furthest from true.... Prior to retaining Ms. Hill the communication was excellent! Once she was paid, she lacked professionalism and communication. We had spoken about her also trying to get him a bond reduction as well. The first red flag was on his first court date with her representing him, she was 2 hours late without any communication stating she would be. My son communicated with her through text when she didn’t show and that is when she claimed she was running behind because she was in court with another client. She eventually arrived and they were able to get a continuance so she could “work” on gathering more information for his case. She did not speak with the judge about the bond reduction and stated she can do that outside of his court date and would work on getting him one. It is now November and she still has not requested the bond reduction as she stated she was handling. The second red flag was her never speaking to my son about what actually happened to get his side of what happened to cause his pending charges. He actually never heard anything from her until the beginning of October when she wanted to inquire about how his balance would be paid. I spoke with her and we discussed using a $5000 bond he has to pay her the remaining amount if any and that is when she comes back a week later claiming the case has to go to trial and it would be $10,000 for her to represent him. She also gave me misinformation stating that he would forfeit his bond since this case is going to trial (I knew this sounded bogus). Ms. Hill communicated he had court on November 6, 2025 and it would be good if he has support there with him. The 3rd red flag was his court date on November 6, 2025 and you guessed it, she didn’t show up! Even worse the judge said my son wasn’t on the docket for that date and had no future court date showing as well! Mind you 3 days prior she confirmed court with me. Not only that, I came to court to support my son and my sister all for her to not show. I called her and left her a message asking her to call me and she never returned my call. My son texted her and she said she would see what was going on. She texted him back later that day with a new court date with no explanation and no apology for her lack of not showing up to court. About a week later I asked Ms. Hill to give me a call when she was available and she has yet to return my call or respond to my text. I emailed Ms. Hill yesterday terminating her as representing my son and she responded within minutes to my email, but for some reason she doesn’t respond to calls or text messages. She’s only going to respond when there’s money involved. I feel her work was very minimal and requested a 50% refund, which she denied. I will be pursuing this further by contacting the Missouri Bar Association with my complaint and the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel. Her responses to my emailed lacked professionalism and decorum. I would NEVER recommend Ms. Hill to ANYONE!
