Steven B. Spewak

Steven B. Spewak, founder of Estate Plan Strategies, LLC, has been engaged in the private practice of law as an attorney in the metropolitanSt. Louis,Missouri, area for more than 25 years.  He founded Estate Plan Strategies, LLC in May, 2001, after many years as a partner with prominentSt. Louislaw firms where he concentrated his practice in the field of estate planning.

With this wealth of knowledge and experience, Estate Plan Strategies, LLC works with its clients to preserve wealth and protect assets while achieving personal and family objectives, minimizing taxes and providing comfort and peace of mind with the planning that takes place. 

Mr. Spewak obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting fromDrakeUniversityand his law degree from theUniversityofMissouriatKansas Citywhere he graduated "with distinction".  Following law school, he served four years as a lawyer in the Judge Advocate General Corp of the United States Air Force.  Upon completion of his military commitment, he returned to school at the National Law Center of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he earned a graduate law degree (LL.M.) in Tax Law.  

Mr. Spewak has authored numerous articles in professional journals and speaks frequently before professional and civic groups about estate planning, business succession planning and asset protection.  He was recognized as a 2012 Five Star Wealth Advisor by St. Louis Magazine for the third time in the last four years and was recognized in the February, 2012, St. Louis Small Business Monthly as a top attorney who can help businesses in St. Louis.  He is also a co-author of the authoritative book on estate planning, Love, Money, Control; Reinventing Estate Planning, published by Quantum Press, and a contributing author to the recently released book, Estate Planning Strategies, published by Wealth Builders Press, LLC. Mr. Spewak is a member of the Probate and Trust Committees of The Missouri Bar and The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and a member of the Wealth Counsel network of estate planning attorneys.
