James Ryan Kelly

Attorney J. Ryan Kelly has dedicated his practice to the representation of injury victims and their families, with an emphasis on wrongful death, premises liability and car, truck and motorcycle accident cases. Ryan has achieved successful results for his clients in high stakes litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. He has secured millions of dollars of settlements, judgments and verdicts for his clients in a wide variety of cases. Ryan has been honored by the National Trial Lawyers Association as a member of the Top 40 under 40 for the State of Missouri. The organization identifies a select group of top trial attorneys who have exhibited exceptional qualifications and achieved superior results for their clients before age 40.

Prior to founding Stephens Kelly Law and dedicating his practice exclusively to the representation of injury victims and their families, Ryan gained unique insight into how large corporations and insurance companies defend personal injury cases while working for one of the largest law firms in the nation.

Ryan received an academic scholarship from Saint Louis University School of Law, where he graduated with honors and was an editor of the Law Review. Prior to law school, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Banking.
