Reno Richard Cova III

Reno Cova is a Partner in the St. Louis office of Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP. He has been representing corporations and individuals in high risk litigation for nearly a decade including various types of liability defense litigation, FELA defense litigation, toxic tort, business litigation, personal injury, premises liability, product liability, insurance and bad faith litigation. In addition to individuals and local businesses, Reno has represented manufacturers and distributors of industrial manufacturing equipment, industrial production components and materials, power generation facilities, industrial equipment and commercial and industrial contractors. 

 

Reno has experience handling matters in all facets of litigation, from advising clients on litigation avoidance, pre-suit liability and/or coverage analysis, to handling all phases of active litigation including alternate dispute resolution and trial. He has first-chair trial experience in federal and state courts.  Additionally, he has extensive experience with arbitration and mediation. Reno has trial team experience in various jurisdictions, including California, Illinois, Missouri, Massachusetts and Maryland. He currently manages significant case dockets for several large companies in both Missouri and Illinois and is responsible for obtaining hundreds of dismissals in the past few years.
