Biography
Ms. Riley's practice includes all areas of intellectual property law. Her primary emphasis is preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patents relating to the mechanical arts. Ms. Riley is also involved in opinion work regarding patentability, freedom to operate, and other intellectual property issues.
Ms. Riley received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2010 from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where she was a member of the Journal of Law & Policy. Ms. Riley was awarded the Danforth Scholarship for her studies in law, and she received an academic excellence award in Intellectual Property Licensing and Technology Transfer.
Ms. Riley received her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas in 2007. Ms. Riley was awarded a National Merit scholarship to attend the University of Kansas, and she was a member of the Tau Beta Pi national engineering honor society.
