James Parker Lemonds

Recognized as one of the top 50 lawyers in St. Louis and described as a Super Lawyer by Missouri Kansas Super Lawyers magazine, Jim Lemonds has tried to jury verdict well over one hundred civil cases in the State and Federal District Courts in Missouri and Illinois. In 2011, Jim was ranked one of the "Winningest Plaintiff Lawyers" by Missouri Lawyers Weekly.

Jim represents people who have been hurt and families who have lost loved ones because of others' carelessness or dangerous products. Following a twenty-year legal career representing industry and insurance companies in personal injury and wrongful death damage suits brought against them, in 2004 Jim began representing the victims in these cases.

Jim is licensed to practice law in the states of Missouri and Illinois. He is admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts and Courts of Appeal in both states. Jim is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, the Illinois Bar Association, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, The Lawyer's Association of St. Louis and the American Association for Justice.

Jim has lectured and written of the topics of legal liability for numerous legal, product, health care, health care and industry groups.

Jim has authored the following published articles. 
“Whence Public Policy”, Journal of the Missouri Bar, July-Aug. 1996 (co-authored with Erich Vieth).
“Establishing Damages in Cases Involving the Death of a Minor,” The Missouri Trial Attorney, Spring 2005 (co-authored with Erich Vieth).

Jim graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1983 and the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1980. He was born September 10, 1957 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
