John Edward Counts

John Counts had two years to prepare for this trial. He left everything until the month of the trial and then did not use evidence he said he had gotten for the defense. He balked at my suggestion of meeting him at his office. Payments were made to him by meeting at gas stations and Hardees. He got w...itnesses names wrong during court proceedings. Complete strangers told me that he's a really good lawyer but upon hearing about all of the screw ups told me that he must be drinking again. During trial, completely unprepared. He asked the Prosecutor for a copy of the police report. Awful communication. Awful "representation". My fiance would have been better off with ANYBODY but John Counts representing him.
