Paternity and Timeshare
Apr 20, 2015OUTCOME: 50/50 Equal Timesharing
Client came to me with the issue that the mother of his child was not allowing him overnight visitations and arbitrarily allowing daily visitation when she could find no other babysitter. Mom had no v ... alid reason for withholding overnight visitations and regular visitations with my client. Mom argued at trial that my Client should have supervised visitation by making several non-substantiated claims that were disproved at trial. The matter was decided by a judge in Naples, Florida, and my Client was awarded 50/50 timesharing. Because both parents care and support the child equally neither parent would be required to pay child support.
