Amanda worked my child custody case, which was a last-minute need, so I did not read reviews beforehand. I was advised to focus on answering the questions and not say certain things that would help my case. The documents of evidence that I received were not used in court and I was not given helpful a...dvice on what witnesses to bring. I did not expect to be charged for her email responses and not necessarily receive them when needed. You will have to do major research on your own before having her represent you. My in-person interactions with her and the fact she will call out hear-say in court are the positives she possesses.

She was hired for my divorce case and was very nice. However, she never contacted any of my witnesses. She did not advise of the consequences of not signing the divorce papers as quickly as possible which allowed my ex wife to rob my bank account twice and my house once. She never used the witnesses ...I had come to court. She advised me to not to say anything except to answer the questions and nothing else. Thankfully I didn't heed that advise or else I would have been awarded nothing in marital property and instead of having my son all summer as well as weekends I would have only had him on the weekends. The only person I would recommend Amanda to would be my ex wife and that's only because Amanda seemed to work so well with my ex's lawyer. If Amanda is the only lawyer you can afford I would encourage you to represent yourself.
