He truly had our best interest at heart.
I can not say anything higher about a lawyer. Aaron went out his way to investigate at legal matter for us prior to paying a retainer fee and found that his services were not necessary. He went out of his way to make sure our situation was going to be taken care of and was upfront with us about what ...

Highly Recommend Aaron Hopkins
Mr. Hopkins came highly recommended by a family friend who is also a law professional and we have not been disappointed in his work. He encouraged us to call him anytime, day or night, if we had questions or needs and assured us he was taking care of everything....and he always has. Anything he has h...

Custody and Adoption
We hired Mr. Hopkins during our consultation. He instantly took away the level of fear that we as grandparents was living with. Our granddaughter had been with us a year. We left his office with custody and order of protection being drawn up that day. He is very straight forward, compassionate, and ...

Don't Waste Your Time
Horrible attorney, a terrible waste of time and money. Refuses to call back when trying to get updates from him. I usually had to just show up unannounced at his office in order to get any information from him at all. Talks a good talk but doesn't come through on his promises.Very good at working at ...
It's taken me some time to respond to this review. Mostly because I didn't know exactly what to say. Although this was posted by an "Anonymous" former client, I believe I know who left this review. I have the utmost sympathy for this particular former client. Her situation was a very difficult one, but sadly not unique. She was married to someone who she thought had a lot of resources, and it turned out that they did not. It can be extremely traumatizing and disappointing to find out someone you've been married to for so long was living a lie. As her lawyer I did the best I could for her. Contrary to what she indicates, I always returned her phone calls and even spoke to her after hours on numerous occasions, often late into the night. It is true that she did show up to my office unannounced. This happened quite often. But mostly because she needed reassurance that things were going to be okay. Clearly she walked away from our relationship feeling like I did her wrong. For that I am truly sorry. If given the opportunity I would love to speak with her again to see how she is doing and see if there's anything I can do for her.
"I have known Aaron for over seventeen years. He is one of the nicest guys you will meet, but a touch litigator in the courtroom. If you've been arrested in Southern Illinois, he is the guy you want on your side."
