Robert Gaither Jones

This lawyer handled my case with complete incompetence. Robert was not returning emails or calls for 12 months, He is definitely a waste of an attorney, the only time he showed emotion was when I told him I was going to fire him. I took a deal..I wanted to go to Trial. Robert Jones then Bait & Switch...ed my deal to something else.He said ill get 1 year no contact probation,from day #1..i said ok...When it came time to sign,it was 2 years!!!!! I have no criminal record.Bob didnt do anything anyway,my record got me off............Bob was on the side of IL.the whole time.. I should have fired him the first time.My uncle begged me to keep him,or i would have not still be in pain,from him 6 months,after the case is over....He also lied about getting my money back,from day #1,until 76 days after my 6/2017 court date...8/2017 he finally responded to a email,saying yes,hed get my money back,now the case is over!? In DEC.2017 i found out he never even filled out step #1.....Its really unbelievable the treatment this guy provides...And he went to grade school with my Uncle is how i unfortunately met this person......When i fired him the 1st time,my uncle begged me,to take him back....I wanted transparency also..Absolutely zero....There were 2 DAs..DA#2 was his personal friend also,from high school or college,and theres another problem..Im investigating into the DA too...Its Bobs personal friend... This entire process wasnt fair on my end because of Robert.From the Crooked state cop,to the crooked DA. To my Attorney Robert Jones..All against me.. Just a horrible experience from day #1,until now 18 months later,i still live the pain from his incompetence..And a family friend..Ridiculous!
