Showing 1 - 1 of 1 review | Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Posted by anonymous | March 22, 2018 | Hired Attorney | Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Terrible lawyer!

I was experiencing health problems and had accumulated a great deal of debt. I contacted Brian Dees to discuss my options. After consulting with him I decided to file for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy protection. My case was complicated due to family real estate holdings. He submitted our filing and later... attended our 341 hearing. Mr. Dees told me that he did not think that my partial interest in my father's real estate would be of interest to the Trustee. He was wrong. He told me that no one would come to my home. He was wrong. The trustee sent an appraiser to "snoop". Later, the trustee decided to look into the value of my father's home. Having to explain to my elderly father why an appraiser was looking through his home was a very low point. Mr. Dees didn't seem very knowledgable. He was disorganized. He did not return emails or phone calls in a timely manner. He turned what should have been a relatively simple filing into a disaster. When the Trustree began looking at the aforementioned real estate, Dees was not returning my calls. I contacted another attorney for assistance and my case was handled professionally, courteously, and in a timely manner. I'm not sure why Brian Dees still has his law license.
