No a ticket for open container as a passenger is not a violation that would cause an extension of your "suspension" which is what you have stated...

For a first offender, the suspension goes off your public record once it's over. But it stays on your permanent record forever.

If you are in a rush, just go plead guilty. Not sure that's the way to go, but it gets it over with. Otherwise continue to count your good fortune...
