If you are over 18, no injuries, had a valid license, you qualify for MDDP. You don't need a lawyer for that.

Try Alabama or CO. However, in either state you will have to establish residency for a year I believe.

Really depends on the court system. Here in Sangamon County, where there a lot of cases you could bury your case in the system for quite awhile.
