It was not the judge's error. She just takes in the information that the police and prosecutor gives her.

You missed court. Some judges issue arrest warrants for doing that. Follow Mr. Wallin's lead. He knows Cook County traffic court like nobody else.

If the supervision was recent the judge surely knew the law would be changing but kept in that provision. Furthermore, many DUIs supervision orders...

Yes you’re permitted to receive court supervision twice in a 12 months.
