My clients were injured in a motor vehicle accident. The other driver's insurance carrier paid out their policy limits after one settlement demand was made. Suit was filed against my client's own ins ... urance carrier when the carrier made a minimal pre-litigation offer under my clients' underinsured motorist coverage. State Farm settled after suit was filed and my clients received a significant settlement at mediation more than 5 times the pre-litigation offer.
