OUTCOME: Plaintiff's verdict for $2,250,000

Case filed against City for breach of commercial development agreement. City filed counterclaim as well. Last offer to settle was $50,000. After two week jury trial, we obtained a verdict of $2,250, ... 000. City then filed Motion to Correct Error, which was subsequently denied. Due to that delay, the City was forced to pay post judgment interest in excess of $50,000.

OUTCOME: Plaintiff's verdict for $3,000,000

Suit for legal malpractice, alleging attorney had failed to file a medical malpractice claim within the 90 day time limit after panel results. Lawyer's defense was that the underlying claim could not ... have been won. Best offer was $75,000. In a two week trial, during which we tried the medical malpractice claim, we obtained a jury verdict on damages in the amount of $3,000,000.
