Paul Edmund Wieck

Mr Wieck was retained for divorce at the retainer fee of $3000. I spoke with him on the phone as the initial communication. At that time he stated that if I wanted to come in for an additional conference that was fine and if I retained him he would charge for the visit. Well after I retained him I wa...s billed for the initial; phone conversation as well as deed and title work of some sort. When questioned about the bill he said it would be fixed and which it was almost. He did not refund me my initial phone call time. 3 emails, 2 very short "10 min max" phone conversations and a office visit to prepare for an out dated motion. He did not show any concern about trying to communicate with the other lawyer prior to prep to ensure things are up to date. In the end I fired Mr Weick because of his billing and he didnt seemed concerned any at all that he was sucking my retainer dry and I was not receiving any reward for his service. In the end he sucked my $3000 retainer down a refund of $75 and we never even entered a court house. He sat in a black hole racking up the minutes doing nothing of benefit to my situation. Don't walk away. RUN!
