While practicing at Leahy, Eisenberg & Fraenkel, Ltd., Nicholas primarily defended businesses, insurance companies, nursing homes and individuals in personal injury cases involving automobile negligence and premises liability.
Prior to working at Leahy, Eisenberg & Fraenkel, Ltd. Nicholas worked in private practice in Quincy, Illinois litigating personal injury, workers’ compensation, family law, construction and criminal cases. Nicholas has prepared and tried cases in a variety of areas of civil and criminal law. While attending law school, he worked for the Washtenaw County Public Defender Office in his hometown, Ann Arbor, Michigan, defending indigent clients in misdemeanor and felony matters under Michigan Supreme Court Rule 8.120. Nicholas also served as a 711 Law Clerk for the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office, prosecuting traffic and criminal cases in Aurora, Illinois.
Nicholas and his wife, Gabrielle, decided that they would make Quincy, Illinois their permanent home in 2019. Nicholas worked a short period of time at a local law firm prior to starting Rober Law.
Nicholas is a former collegiate baseball player and has volunteered in both Michigan and Illinois with several schools and travel baseball teams as a coach. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his family and dogs, jet skiing, wakeboarding, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.
Nicholas received his B.A. from Concordia University in 2010 and his J.D. from Western Michigan University in 2014.
Nicholas is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.
