Another firm filed an appeal seeking a new trial but a three member panel of the Pennsylvania Superior Court upheld the conviction and denied the request for a new trial. Our attorneys took the appeal further and convinced a 9 member (en banc) panel of the same court that our client was entitled to a new trial under Pennsylvania's Post Conviction Relief Act (PCRA) because his trial attorney failed to interview witnesses and present photographic evidence at trial. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court upheld this victory for our client.
