Wonderful experience!

Don't let the office fool you. They recently moved and are still getting things in order, but Mr. Lathram knows his stuff! Our paralegal, Carolyn, was amazing as well. Any questions we had, we just called or emailed and they were answered usually right away, but no longer than 24 hours later. No one ...wants to go what we went through, but when life hands you lemons you make lemonade. This gentleman is the best of the best in my opinion.

Highly recommend Lathram and Herbert if you are ever in need of a bankruptcy attorney!

I was very nervous and upset about having to go through the bankruptcy process. I knew nothing about it and was very stressed. Mr Lathrum and his paralegal Ms Kehoe were very professional and explained things step by step to make sure I understood the process completely. They were always a phone ca...ll away if I had any issues or questions. I felt alone when I walked into their office but after having them handle my Chapter 7 bankruptcy I felt like I was part of a team. They totally made me understand that I was not a bad person to have to file Chapter 7 but that I had a situation that put me in that position and that I deserved a fresh start. Would highly recommend Lathram and Herbert to anyone who may find themselves needing a reputable bankruptcy firm.

Got Great Advice

Greg and his staff were excellent in the handling of my bankruptcy case. They told me how the process worked, the time frame the case would take and the information needed from me. They painstakingly went over details of the information I provided to ensure there wouldn't be any problems getting th...e discharge. When possible, they scheduled all meetings around my work schedule. They were pleasant to work with. They didn't make me feel embarrassed or like a failure. They were supportive of my decisions. They would answer all of my questions with thorough and detailed information. Filing bankruptcy wasn't something I planned on or set out to do in my life, but I can't imagine any firm being better to work with than Gregory Lathram's.

Bankruptcy

Lathram and Herbert LLP did awesome. It begins with the person who answers the telephone, paralegal, and then the lawyer. I was so impressed with her communications skills and minumum advice; I was sure the lawyer (Greg) was as good as she (Carolyn) was. Every step of my process was stressful (which ...is to be expected) but successful.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I have known Mr. Lathram for over 6 years. Initially he and I worked for the same consumer bankruptcy firm in Carbondale, Illinois. He left that practice to start and manage a bankruptcy practice in Collinsville, Illinois that he continues to run to this day. Through the years we have consulted on a number of matters. Greg is extremely well versed in bankruptcy law, both consumer and business. He is experienced in chapter 11, work as well as chapters 7, and 13. He is detail oriented and a great listener. He takes the time to get to know his clients -- what they need and what is important to them and then he constructs the best possible legal plan to protect them and to reach their goals to the extent possible. Mr Lathram has an excellent courtroom presence and is willing to fight for his clients rather than just take the path of least resistance. If I needed to file for bankruptcy, I would be very comfortable having him in my corner as my attorney."
