Assisted State's Attorney in all aspects of presentation of evidence and jury selection in the People of the State of Illinois v. Thomas Odle. This case was tried to a ve ... rdict of guilty on all counts and a death sentence was imposed. This wretch murdered his entire family ( mother, father, two brothers and one sister ) for no reason other than unmitigated greed, avarice, & outright wickedness. I am not a great proponent of the death penalty, but since I helped the Sheriff's Department and the DCI to process the crime scene, and I knew this grisly murderer from his days as a juvenile delinquent, there was no hesitation in my heart to agree to, and push for the ultimate sanction.
