Michael Benson is a St. Louis / Southern Illinois bankruptcy attorney. Michael received his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from the Saint Louis University School of Law in 2004. Prior to working in the field of law, Mr. Benson worked as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) having received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1997. Mr. Benson is one of a few attorneys who have passed the Bar exam, CPA exam, and the Series 7 exam to become a licensed stockbroker. Upon graduation from law school, Michael started his own law practice focusing on estate planning and divorce law, and has administered dozens of mediations. For the past 10 years Michael has assisted thousands of clients file for bankruptcy relief. Mr. Benson sincerely enjoys helping to improve the lives of those in his community and has found that his legal and financial skills can greatly assist those seeking bankruptcy protection. Mr. Benson is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and the Bankruptcy Association of Southern Illinois (BASIL).
