Mrs. Dennis is the ultimate gaslighter. She never returns calls, files improper paperwork, if she files any at all. She will not fight for you. The other party will do all the talking. And she’ll tell you that’s the best your gonna get. Smack dead in the middle of your case she’ll request more money.... She will postpone due to (any ex use she can) everything. She does not have an actual office, and honestly is the most difficult to contact. I truly wish we would have done way more research before hiring this attny. If you’re reading this run!! Do not even think about it. This will be a complete waste of your money and you will end up having to pay another attorney to fix everything she’s messed up.

Ms. Dennis was our adoption lawyer for over a year. During this time she rarely returned calls (and at one point I was calling once a day for THREE MONTHS - I never had a response). She claimed to have filed legal papers on a certain date, but after checking with the court I found that she filed them... MONTHS after claiming to have filed them. When we finally fired her, our new lawyer requested Ms. Dennis' files on our case. She did not return our lawyers calls or respond to written correspondence. Since we don't have the file, I'm not even sure that the other things she claimed to have done for us were even accomplished. We're starting all over again. We have since discovered from speaking with a few other lawyers, that Ms. Dennis has a reputation for this kind of behavior. I wish we had done more research on her before we'd hired her.

I highly recommend Mrs. Dennis. My custody and visitation seemed to be spiraling into a complex case. Mrs. Dennis exceeded my expectations with helping me get things under control and ease my fears about the hearing. She is aggressive, honest, and outspoken. My opinion of the negative reviews is ...that those individuals were expecting things that they knew they didn't have a chance at getting and she represented them the best she could given the circumstances. Trust me she is not one to back down nor is she one to sugar coat things.

I hired Ms. Dennis a year ago to handled an uncontested divorce. I am still waiting for the divorce to be completed. I have contacted her on a monthly basis for updates and get nothing but excuses. She blames the delays on bad weather, the judges, paperwork, etc. She NEVER returns phone calls! I...f you want your issue handled correctly, efficiently and in a reasonable timely matter......DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
