Ashley Swearingen Day

I apply my personal and professional experience, as well a legal expertise, to advice my clients in areas of Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning and Elder Law. I work with clients to help them achieve the highest possible quality of life for their loved one and to ensure it will be sustained throughout the individual's lifetime--regardless of age, situation or disability.

Having a family member with special needs and being a former special education teacher, I understand the issues confronting families of individuals with special needs and disabilities. From my decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I gained practical knowledge of managed care, Medicaid and Medicare access and benefits, DSM-IV criteria, HIPAA compliance, medical guidelines and consumer education initiatives.

My passion is stewardship, and working with families to effectively meet the legal, education, developmental and care needs of both children with disabilities and aging parents.
