Bryant Kyle Bass

B. Kyle Bass is an intellectual property attorney at Simmons Hanly Conroy LLC. He focuses his practice on helping small businesses, inventors and entrepreneurs defend their intellectual property rights against infringement.

“My clients work hard for their intellectual property, and even though they may not have physical items being stolen from brick and mortar stores, they have legal rights to protect their creations,” Kyle said. “I strive to ensure those rights are enforced.”

Kyle has experience in several areas of intellectual property litigation, including false marking, copyright infringement, patent and trademark cases.

Kyle graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in recreation, sport and tourism with a concentration in sport management. He earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law where he was on the executive board for the Student Intellectual Property Law Association.

“I went to law school knowing that I wanted to be an Intellectual Property attorney,” Kyle said. “I am always looking for ways our firm can be on the front edge of this rapidly evolving litigation. To borrow from Wayne Gretzky, “We skate to where the puck is going, not where it has been.”
