Scott Edward Perkins

Scott is the founding attorney of the Law Office of Scott E. Perkins. He has been licensed to practice law in Illinois since 2004.   Scott is a graduate of the University of Illinois, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance with Highest Honors in 2001, and was selected as a member of the Bronze Tablet.  Scott received his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2004.  He began his law career as a law clerk and associate attorney at the largest single office law firm in Champaign County, Illinois.  Scott then joined a prominent law firm in Danville, Illinois where he was a partner before starting his own law practice. 

In addition to his practice of law, Scott has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois College of Business since 2008, where he currently teaches courses in Real Estate Transactions and Real Estate Law.  In addition to his practice of real estate law and teaching responsibilities, to stay current with developments concerning real estate matters, Scott holds an Illinois Managing Broker's Real Estate License, and has maintained a real estate license since 1999.  With his dual experience in business and law, Scott is uniquely qualified to assist clients in a multitude of transactional matters.
