Bianca Truitt Green

As an experienced trial attorney, I founded Illinois Mediation Services, Inc. in response to the growing need for independent mediation and conflict resolution services in Illinois.  I mediate all types of conflict situations including, but not limited to, divorce, custody, visitation, financial support and all other family matters, personal injury, medical malpractice, breach of contract, landlord/tenant disputes, business issues,  partnership disputes, business asset purchase agreements, employment disputes and municipal issues.  I also help companies by leading important meetings where conflict is expected. 

In 2012, the President of the Illinois State Bar Association appointed me to serve on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Council.  As a member of the ADR Section Council, I work with attorneys from around the state to find ways to help other attorneys and the general public more aware of mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution that serve as wonderful alternatives to litigation.

I am passionate about helping people work through stressful situations to resolve the conflict in their lives so they can move forward in a happier, healthier way.

In addition to my mediation / conflict resolution work, I also serve as a Hearing Officer for the State Universities Civil Service System where I oversee administrative hearings held for civil service employees who are employed by  State Universities and are involved in the discharge/demotion process.

I also serve as the Professor/Coach of the University of Illinois College of Law American Bar Association Negotiation Team.  We compete each year against teams from other law schools in a comprehensive, hands-on competition that teaches law students the essential art of negotiation.

Finally, I grew up in East Central Illinois and I try to do my part to help our community by serving as a Mentor and participating on Boards and Committees of various Not-for-Profit Organizations that help make the Champaign County a wonderful place to live.
