Alyxander John Parker

Alyx focuses in civil litigation, with concentrations in business/commercial matters, personal injury (plaintiff and defense), and mediation. Other areas of practice include disputes concerning contracts, real estate, employment, estate & trust disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, intellectual property, landlord-tenant, government relations, insurance disputes, appellate practice, and administrative law. Alyx is also a trained and practicing mediator.

Immediately following graduation from Pepperdine University, Alyx served as the Law Clerk to the Hon. Earl S. Hines, in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Texas, Beaumont, Texas. He subsequently entered private practice in Beaumont, Texas, in the area of civil litigation. In 2006, Alyx returned to Champaign and joined the Law Office of Ansel & Small Ltd., which became Ansel Law Ltd. in 2009. He joined Meyer Capel on April 1, 2016.
