The first time I called Ruth's office, I was surprised because she answered the direct line. "Hi, this is Ruth..." I didn't have to jump through hoops to talk to someone and at the time, it felt urgent. I was thinking about filing for divorce, and just wanted to learn what the process was like - if i...t would be the best option for me and my family. Ruth was so helpful. She explained things, provided balanced information, and gave me all the time that I needed throughout the entire process. Because of Ruth and the professionalism of my ex-husband's lawyer, we both had a good experience - as good as a divorce experience can get, I suppose! It was timely, we both felt heard, and were able to reach a compromise on all issues. We are both now remarried and happily get along. Ruth's diligence and attention to both the short and long term needs of our family have played a big role in our ability to continue to get along so well.
