Currently Louise Natonek is the Court Appointed Guardian Ad Litem for all 4 of my children who were removed from my home and care almost 4 years ago by Illinois DCFS' -the Peoria, Illinois office of Illinois Mentor, being the Agency that has handled the case from it's beginning. Our family went 16 mon...ths without both Status and/or Permanency Review Hearings irregardless of our repeated calls to IL. Mentor to which those calls and messages were never returned and during which time we contined to only seek our children for two(2) hours, just one(1)time per week for a total of one(1) year + eleven(11) months, just 1(one) month shy of two(2(years and 3 Courtdates in which IL. Mentor ignored court orders by the judge to not only increse court orders but to start overnights causing the judge to finally order the IL. Mentor had NOT made "resonable efforts" after also attempting to hidevour "fitness", and being Fit for the previous twenty-three(23)months by refusing to return calls&messages to counselors, attorneys, and anyone else who inquired to confirm what the actual status was/is as they wrongfully required repeated services already certified and completed 2,3, then 4 times. My oldest daughter was living in a foster home where she had no bedroom, her bed was on a landing ing at the top of some steps where she was forced to walk in,on, and through dog feces&urine ifrom three(3) dogs,in the dark,in the middle of the night on hard wood floors. In the summer she had no air conditioning with the sun coming through the window just above her bed, which wasn't even on a bedframe but instead, a mattres and box springs on the floor, with a fan blowing the humid feces and urine filled air on her.She developed a chronic cough and respiratory infection that took a month to get rid of after she came home. I had to wash the dog feces out from between her toes during visits, wore clothes that did not fit and was having to buy her appropriate clothing while the state was taking theur survivors benefits every month to offset the amount they oay the foster parent every month. Her school required uniform pants or skirts and shirts. Her foster parents did not buy her what was needed. she was forced to make use of two(2) uniform skirts in the winter with no tights, leg warmers, boots,a winter coat that was about five(5) years old and had thin in spots an was just plain worn out,no hat, gloves, mittens, hat, or scarf. Our oldest son was being abused in more than one way which his older sister tried to tell msny adults about(my son has high functioning autism) it because she was in the same home with him and they ignored her, called her a liar, and moved him out of the home and put her in the above described home, keavibg her brother to be further abused. When Ms. Natonek heard of everything going on and the living arrangements and condition of the home my daughter was living in she was,as anyone would be, thoroughly disgusted by it. She advocated for her and oyr other children excellenty. She did not refrain from telling the court that if a child were in those kind of conditions in their biological parents home that it would not be tolerated and should not be tolerated in a foster home. I think Loise is an awesome Guardian Ad Litem and any caring, concerned, parent could not expect or want snything more in a G.A.L..She advocates strongly and with great confidence. She's just Awesome!
