Handled divorce case in which we fired her after a year and half. Literally did not move the ball at all in that time frame. Never had any answers to questions, which should have been easy for her. Very defensive. Uses the "f" word constantly, trying to sound tough, but sounded so unprofessional. ...Incredibly rude. Poor with communication. Demonstrates no interest in your case. NEVER prepared for meetings. DO NOT USE this attorney. Complete waste of time and money.

I only gave her one star because I had to. I was referred to Judy for a child custody case. When I met with her for the consultation, she was very enthusiastic that she would have no problem getting what I was asking for when she wanted my business. When it came time to argue to get what I was as...king for, she pushed me to settle because she didn't want to have to let the judge hear me out and make the decision. She did nothing to fight for what was best for my child and on top of that she insulted me for having the child with a man like that in the first place! After it was all done, I asked her (with valid proof I had good reason to get the parenting agreement changed) to take him back to court to fight for what I wanted done, she told me to find a new lawyer!!

Hired her with a promise from her to progress my stalling divorce. She overlooked some very basic things, didn't do much research (on a very complex case), was never prepared for our meetings, allowed the case to be dragged out for almost 2.5+ years, didn't send me a bill for a year and then charged ...me a ridiculous amount for all her stalling (or letting opposing council stall) stating that my bill was half of what opposing council was charging my spouse (So they talked about our billing with each other? Wow). Then she demanded I pay in full or she wouldn't represent me right before a scheduled TRIAL date. Yeah. If you value your assets and your children, don't hire this one. Horrible personality, rude, less than average skill, unethical billing, and when she had personal issues my case suffered.

We heard good things about Judy So we decided to get a free consultation with her. We were in and out of her office within 15 minutes at the consultation, and after thinking about it she talks very fast and was rushing us out of her office. We hired Judy and brought our $3500 retainer in on tuesda...y. We emailed several questions to her office and called three times that week with no answer. We finally got a hold of them the next Monday and they had not even started our case yet. Our time was not important to her but it was very important to us so we decided to get a new lawyer. When we went back to get a retainer we only got $3275 back as they said we wasted an hour of their time. If you need a lawyer that has time for you I would recommend looking elsewhere Judy does not! We asked for an itemized receipt after learning that we were not going to get our retainer back. Judy told us that the money that was taken out of our retainer was because she made an outline for us that she was not willing to give us. We only spent 10 minutes with her in our free consultation she had no idea what we wanted to do with our case so there was no way an outline was made !!.. and we would have to wait three more weeks to see her again... No thanks!!
