Ryan Powers

Ryan helped my family with a disputed will issue. He was diligent in finding information needed for the dispute and worked with us by being positive, friendly, and we trusted him fully to help us.

Highly recommended

Mr. Powers was extremely professional and very understanding. During times of my uncertainty, he would contact me to ensure that everything was under control. I recommend Ryan Powers to anyone seeking representation for legal cases.

Real Estate Partnership gone bad

Ryan was assigned to take over my case when the attorney I originally retained had to heavy of a case load. After very little briefing Ryan ran with it and never skipped a beat which made me feel very confident in his ability to represent me. He was brutally honest with me on the long shot of winning... this type of case. We had to prove a partnership on a land deal that I did not put my name on for various reasons. When the partnership fell apart the defendants did not feel they owed my anything when all they put in was sweat equity and I was the only one making the monetary investments. Ryan used some agressive techniques in and out of court which pressured the defendants to settle with me. It was the out come I hoped for but knew it was a 50/50 shot. I am very grateful the law firm accepted my case and thankful Ryan was my Attorney. He was very passionate about my case and I felt that was a huge part of the success in winning it for me. The day my case closed I asked Ryan if he would be my Attorney if I ever needed one in the future and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Best man for the job- carry conceal license

I retained Ryan to take on the state of Illinois as they had denied my Conceal Carry License for no sustainable reason. It was hard to find an Attorney experienced in this field as the law was new and pretty much unchallenged. I called and my wife and I met with Ryan to discuss the ifs ands or buts o...f my chances of winning. after we had sat there for a few minutes talking about this I noticed Ryan was taking on a very very interested demeanor and there I realized that Ryan was the one to fight for me. Ryan tackled the case with a drive that I have not seen in many Lawyers, Ryan kept me informed at every step of the process,we had a couple of down times but he never gave up and he beat the state of Illinois at their own game and we won. I have passed Ryans info around to anyone and everyone I know in regards to CCL licenses and for being just a GREAT YOUNG MAN. And Ryan will be my first choice if I ever need another attorney. Thanks again Ryan

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
