OUTCOME: The Second Distict Court of Appeals agreed and remanded the case for a new trial.

My client was convicted of robbery and sentenced to eight years imprisonment. On appeal, I argued that evidence of Defendant's innocence was improperly excluded from trial, including the results of a p ... olygraph exam and the fact that his ex-girlfriend had a case dismissed in exchange for her working with the police to identify my client as the suspect. The Second Distict Court of Appeals agreed and remanded the case for a new trial.

OUTCOME: The client was resentenced to two years, and has since been released

My client was sentenced to five years incarceration after entering a plea to two counts of burglary. We successfully argued that the sentence was too severe, based upon comments made by the Judge durin ... g sentencing. The Second District Court of Appeals agreed.
