Long ago forgot what she got her degree for.

Katherine treated my son and I with complete disdain. My son had a fender bender. He backed in to a car so lightly he was unaware he hit it and left. No damage was done., but as it was caught on camera, he had to answer to the city of Frankfort. We saw a judge on 3-1-19. The judge admonished my son a...nd told me he was sympathetic to me as he had boys of his own. He ordered 30 hours community service and a 4 hour drivers class which were completed on time. Mrs. Stroll approached us aggressively when we returned to show proof of completion telling us "Here is what's going to happen and here is what you will plead to". My son and I stated there must be a mistake as this was already agreed on by the judge, as to what was required. From that moment on she became angrier by the minute. Telling us we don't understand! She said "How does your son know he hit a car if he drove away and never felt it"? Accusing him of lying. We never got the chance to explain it was because the driver walked out of McDonalds as my son was leaving and had McDonalds pull the video. We weren't aware he even hit the car for 1 week when the police contacted us. She was supposed to "Defend" us? She only "Accused" us. Then we were threatened with paying the fine of $500.00 and accepting 12 months supervision. I asked her directly to please calm down and listen. I also asked her why she was behaving so angry towards us. We were never allowed tell our side, and never allowed to tell the judge what happened. She actually said "You have no-proof" of what the last judge said. I actually wrote it down when the first judge ordered community service and she wouldn't look at the paper. We are now considering rescinding our agreement and asking the court to provide video tape of the first judges order. The larger question is Why would an Attorney who states on the Will County website that all she ever wanted to do "Was help people" treat us like cattle with no rights at all. What she did today was absolutely unwarranted and uncalled for. I hope she goes back to thinking about her claim as to wanting to help people. What a joke. It was Friday. I suppose she had someplace better to be. Justice not served by Katherine Strohl, or Will County.
