About Russell
Biography
I was born in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 2001, I obtained a B.S. in Business Finance degree from the University of Arizona. After working as a financial analyst for a growing telecommunications company, I attended law school at Southwestern University in Los Angeles, California. I obtained my Juris Doctorate in 2005.
After graduating law school, I moved to Illinois. From 2006 to 2012, I worked for an established law firm out of Crystal Lake, Illinois serving McHenry, Lake, Winnebago, Kane, and Cook Counties. During that time, I litigated multimillion dollar actions in state and federal court, successfully defended clients at trial ranging from financial institutions and manufacturers to individuals and family farmers, and advised and protected his clients on employment and contract related matters.
In August of 2012, I joined BSLBV and my family and I moved to the Rockford area. Since then I have enjoyed serving my clients in the areas of bankruptcy, civil litigation, corporate and business planning, commercial litigation, employment, and personal injury.

Excellent attorney

Super helpful!
I was never a paying customer, but I called with a problem after buying a car from a used car lot. Every other lawyer I talked to said that they couldn't give advice without me being their client (I.E. they needed payment).
