James Timothy Zuba

James T. Zuba concentrates his practice of law on litigation, with emphasis on Family Law, Personal Injury, and Criminal Defense. James T. Zuba is an experienced trial attorney with a successful litigation track record in the areas of family law, personal injury, and criminal law. His solid business background and understanding of financial issues, combined with his commitment to excellence and high moral standards, makes him an elite in his field.

Mr. Zuba received his Juris Doctor degree from the DePaul University in Chicago, graduating in the top 10% of his class. After graduating from DePaul, he worked as a federal prosecutor for the United States Department of Justice for 11 years, where he earned 3 special Achievement Awards for his successful prosecution of various white collar and drug related offenses. In 1995 he earned the Director's Award for his role in the successful prosecution of 31 members of a street gang who were charged with narcotics and firearms offenses. In accepting this award, he was personally recognized by the Attorney General of the United States. Mr. Zuba has also been an instructor of a Criminal Trial Advocacy course held in Washington, D.C. for new attorneys.

Mr. Zuba received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude while earning a B.S. in Accounting. He is a C.P.A. and he worked for two different international public accounting firms before attending law school. His experience as a C.P.A. laid the groundwork for his success as an attorney.
