Brette Freedle began his legal career two decades ago when he had the honor of clerking for the Chief Judge of the Cook County Circuit Court, the largest unified court system in the United States. He subsequently practiced business transactional and real estate law on the East Coast, where he had the opportunity to work with both large and small businesses on a range of complex matters, ranging from commercial real estate to joint ventures to venture capital equity financings. After a successful career on the East Coast he returned to Illinois where he expanded his practice to include the areas of medical malpractice and insurance litigation defense, public sector law, and commercial litigation. In 2008 he left his position with a large Chicago law firm to start The Law Offices of Brette E. Freedle. Admitted to the Bar in Connecticut, Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, he has given numerous presentations, was a guest lecturer on legal issues and co-taught medical ethics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, and is an adjunct faculty member of Upper Iowa University. A member of the Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, and a frequent participant in local business events, he is committed to providing quality legal services and guidance to the firm's business and individual clientele.

Top Shelf Representation
Brett represented us while selling our parents home and was engaged every step of the process. Brett's pro communication is outstanding and he made a difficult process stress free. The closing was super easy with considerations for Covid. Many thanks for the best attorney experience ever.
