OUTCOME: Not Guilty

Our client was charged with driving under the combined influence of drugs and alcohol. Because there was an accident in the case our client was also charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an acc ... ident. We took the case to trial and it was found that the arresting officer did not have the proper expertise to opine whether our client was under the influence of drugs, which is an essential element of the charge. As a result our client was found not guilty on both charges.
