Illinois girl critically injured in Walworth accident

Sheriff's deputies say a northern Illinois woman was responsible for a collision in which she and a 7-year-old girl were severely injured. The car accident victims were from Crystal Lake, not far from ... the crash site in Walworth County, Wisconsin. The accident report says the two-vehicle crash happened along Highway 67 in Walworth. Police claim the 29-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Cavalier did not yield after making a stop. A 58-year-old Huntley, Illinois, driver - operating a van hauling a boat trailer - apparently could not stop before broadsiding the Cavalier. The van struck the driver's side of the car, critically injuring the Cavalier driver and a young female passenger. The victims were flown to Wisconsin hospitals.
