Daniel Arthur Huntley

Daniel A. Huntley is an associate in the transactional group in the firm’s Rockford office, concentrating his practice in corporate law, real estate law, and agribusiness law.

Daniel was raised in Chana, Illinois, and attended Rochelle Township High School. Prior to attending law school, Daniel graduated from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, where he majored in Finance and minored in Spanish.

Daniel spent the summer of his first year of law school assisting individuals who sought to obtain a mortgage modification under the FHA’s Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP). He also organized and coordinated the Maurer School of Law’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which assisted, on average, 400 individuals in the preparation and filing of their income taxes each year. Daniel spent his second summer clerking for a prominent Rockford law firm and joined WilliamsMcCarthy LLP as an associate following his graduation in 2012.

At WilliamsMcCarthy LLP, Daniel advises small and medium size businesses on corporate organization and governance issues, contract drafting and review, lease drafting and review, commercial and residential real estate issues, and agribusiness issues.

Daniel is admitted to practice in Illinois. He is also active in professional and community groups, serving on the Real Estate Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Board of Directors at Shelter Care Ministries and as a Community Advisor to the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. Daniel is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Winnebago County Bar Association, and the Ogle County Bar Association.
