Michael R. Hynes

I am a native Hoosier who first moved to Illinois nearly 20 years ago. Before turning to the Law, I had a number of careers, including the military, academia, and publishing. Most recently, I worked as an intelligence officer and analyst supporting the U.S. military in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Our nation's security is something I take personally.

I didn't truly discover my love for the law until attending Law School at Southern Illinois University. I am a fervent believer in the law and in the Constitution, and I believe everyone should have a voice in their own lives and destinies. As an attorney and counselor at law, it is my great desire and pride to help people with their legal problems.

In addition to a law degree, I have a Bachelor's Degree in political science and a Master's Degree in Middle Eastern Studies. Work has allowed me to travel widely: five continents and over 20 countries. I have seen much of the world, have witnessed how other folk live, and am grateful to be an American and a resident of Illinois.
