Ineffective Counsel Neil Spector

My husband hired this attorney to defend him 18 years ago and attorney Spector not only allowed the state to change the plea agreement without consulting my husband right before the case was presented to the Judge. Also this attorney failed to investigate the states claim that a weapon was used durin...g the crime. And because he didn't investigate the claim my husband was given extra years. This attorney also allowed the States Attorney to charge my husband separately for another crime on top of the first crime. This attorney told my husband that the plea deal would include both crimes but when my husband got to court the first plea deal had been changed without any input from my husband. I just want everyone to know that depending on what you are charged with this attorney will allow the States Attorney office to sentence you to what ever time they want. He will allow the States Attorney office to tell him about the case instead of investigating the case himself. If you look him up you will find that he has been suspended and discipline by the Illinois ARDC. It's so terrible because now we are forced to deal with the plea my husband plead too. I would suggest that if this lawyer defended you and made your case worse then if you had gotten a public defender please start the ineffective counsel charge immediately before the time runs out to do so
