I represent clients before a wide range of government agencies responsible for the enforcement of import/export laws and border security programs. That representation includes addressing discrete issues, as well as the development of compliance programs and performance of gap analyses/internal reviews for on-going risk assessment and compliance measurement purposes.

I interpret and apply the laws and regulations of more than 40 federal agencies as they impact the importation into, and exportation from, the United States of goods, technology and services. Those agencies include U.S. Customs & Border Protection, the Bureau of Industry & Security, the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, the Bureau of Census and such PGAs as FDA, FCC, FTC, EPA, FWS, NHTSA and APHIS.

I provide counsel on the implications of U.S. and foreign laws and regulations on the global movement of goods, services and technology across international borders. Working with country- and region-specific counsel, I develop business-centric strategies for market entry, penetration and on-going legal compliance. I also work with clients in extending their global footprint through the selection, verification and use of supply chain business partners.
