Joan Denise Clay

Joan was recommended to me by family for a divorce. She was very arrogant and rude, she gave more of her opinion than legal advice. I lost a lot of time and money by not hiring a real family law attorney to start with. She would become angry and combative if you asked her the simplest law question or... try to get answers on your case. She coached me to settle on the first offer the opposing counsel offered. She had no fight or willingness to help find the best solution for your case. At times I felt she was looking out for the opposing counsel and clients best interest verses mine. When I terminated our agreement to hire another layer she put some very nasty accusations in her motion to the judge about the case and my character to the court. For your own sake and the sake of your case do not use this attorney. She may have been great in the past and had great recommendations from the past but she is not good to use now.
