Once you overstayed, you cannot extend/change the status. You can still get a green card under certain circumstances, such as applying for asylum...

No, L2 is dependent on L1. Thus, once L1 ceases to exist, the same will follow for L2.

As I understand, Pakistan was British India. Now, it is Pakistan. I do not think you need to worry about it since it is a modern name for British...

You cannot apply to speed up your case because your priority date is not current. A visa for you will be available in many, many years from now.
