also known as Tom Reuland
When negligence causes serious injuries, people are stripped of their ability to enjoy what they do, to love in the way they normally love, and to bask in the small things that make everything else in life joyful. These observations serve as a motivating foundation for what personal injury attorney Tom Reuland does on a daily basis. Mr. Reuland has dedicated his career to helping people recover for the harms and losses that others have caused.
Tom Reuland grew up in Aurora, Illinois. His family tree is filled with teachers, nurses, and small business owners. After going to college at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, he moved to New York City and worked at the Children's Law Center where he provided support for abused and neglected children in New York City's Integrated Domestic Violence Courts and other venues. Mr. Reuland returned to the Midwest to attend law school. At the University of Iowa College of Law, he earned positions on the Law Review and the executive board of the school's moot court program and competed nationally in trial advocacy competitions. He then moved to Chicago and started practicing personal injury law in 2011.
Mr. Reuland has been recognized by Super Lawyers and Leading Lawyers, placing him in the top 2.5% of attorneys in Illinois for work in personal injury and nursing home neglect cases. He has published legal works in the Iowa Law Review, the University of Nebraska’s Digital Commons, the Construction Law Corner, Trial Journal, and for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education. He has appeared in Law360, a leading online publication, commenting on trial advocacy skills. Mr. Reuland has given numerous presentations and taught continuing legal education courses on topics ranging from laws impacting bicyclists in Illinois to best practices for conducting a direct examination of a witness during trial. He is active in the Illinois State Bar Association, not only earning appointments to multiple committees but also serving as Chair in 2025-2026 of the Disability Law Committee. Mr. Reuland has also served on various boards of charitable organizations in Chicago dedicated to poverty reduction, racial and economic equity, and access to legal services.
Tom Reuland lives in Chicago with his wife and two children.

Top notch service!
Tom and his team worked hard to get a fair settlement for my injury case. He took the time to explain everything that I needed to know to make the best decision possible in my case. Hopefully I will not need him again, but if I did, I would not hesitate to call on his firm again.

Excellent Attorney!
I was injured in a bike accident with an automobile (Chicago, IL). I was taken to Emergency Room where the doctor diagnosed Radial Head Fracture. Since it was the very first time I had such an accident and my stay in the US is pretty short I decided to find a professional attorney to help with my ca...
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I have relied on Mr. Reuland twice, once on a prospective case with a client I brought to him and once when I had a potential claim. Both cases involved bicycle accidents, an area of law where Mr. Reuland's reputation is well deserved. I saw firsthand how quickly he was able to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the potential cases and, more importantly, deal with potential clients on a human level."
"I recently had the opportunity to co-counsel with Tom on a relatively complicated case. Not only did he prove himself to be an outstanding litigator, taking the lead on several critical tasks, but due in significant part to his work, the case resolved well beyond our clients' expectations. Tom was a pleasure to work with, and I'm already looking forward to our next case together."
