It depends if the state has any other witnesses. If they want to pursue the case they can take it to the grand jury.

Prison is not likely if its his first case. Why is he still in jail? He didnt get an I bond?

Can you be charged with PWID within 1000 ft of school?

You can be charged with it but if there are no more facts you likely would be found not guilty of the 1000 feet.
What does 720 ILCS 5 / 16 - 1 ( a ) ( 2 ) ( a ) mean ? It says theft x2 , and will I definitely go to jail ?
