Hello, I've been reading that the DV Lottery will be eliminated with the new Immigration Bill, how likely will this happen?

Very likely. The W visa is filed by an employer, there is no requirement for the alien to be in the U.S. at the time of filing.

They should file the PERM no later than a year before your H1b ends, if you will need a 7th year extension.

It makes no sense to file for an extension of status and then to leave the country. You may wish to file after you return.

No, the EAD card approval means that you have a pending adjustment application, not the adjustment will be approved or denied.

You have no choice but to wait for either a receipt or notice your case was not selected. Our office has gotten receipts already.

Assuming you are not barred by 212(e) or anything else, you can file for permanent residence when the DV lottery number is close to availability.
